Life is hard and it’s a game of survival,

We need a time of some Godly revival.

You’ve got kids and taxes and the stresses of life,

There are so many decisions between you and your wife,

How do you cope-is there one great solution,

I’d like a fix-it-all maybe a potion.

But there’s nothing I’ve found to cure all the ills,

To squelch all the sadness and give us some thrills.

Life’s meant to be enjoyed-go take it all in,

But there’s something in the way-and it is called sin.

God does deplore it and sent us his Son,

Who suffered on a cross and then said “it is done.”

Wiping the slate-to give us a second chance,

We should all be so happy that we must go and dance.

The world is so dark-filled with many bad things,

But blessed with his sacrifice-now our salvation rings.

He gave us his bible as a plan of attack,

To help us not waiver but keep us on track.

Scriptures give wisdom-on which we should rely,

To help guide our path til the day that we die,

Claim him as savior and follow his plan,

Then he’ll lead us to a beautiful promised land.

Warmed by his brilliance when you see his face,

Heaven awaits you-it’s the only place.

Step into eternity-that no one can describe,

Then you’ll understand why it was-Jesus died.

Scripture is the most important thing you can have. It is the inherent word of God. Our Lord used many people to deliver his message to all that read it. You can be transformed by pulling it into your heart. It was so important that his apostles were martyred for being a part of his followers. There was much blood shed to give you the ability to read these passages that were written for your benefit. Don’t take them for granted. They are essential to help you know who Jesus was and why he loved you enough to take human form and subject himself to ridicule, torture and execution through crucifixion. If you’ve ever watched “The Passion of the Christ” it gives you just a taste or glimpse into what he endured. That was your God, who now sits at the right hand of his father. The Godhead-God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit-was instrumental in giving you the biggest gift of your life. You need to take this offering of eternal salvation and claim Jesus. You can’t wait. What if you’re killed in a car wreck tomorrow? You will have missed your chance to live in eternity with your savior………….
